Bill, you are the light in mom's life. My sisters and I are so greatful to have you and your beautiful daughter Courtney in our lives, especially during this difficult time.
Mom lights up like a Christmas tree when you enter the room. Her stress level drops, and in turn her pain level drops. She thoroughly enjoys your visits and how you take care of her. The other morning when you were over...and mom called us into the room to hear that Randy Travis song...that was a memory that we will always treasure. And then mom listening to the Rod Stewart CD and smiling and saying "I can be sick as a dog, but this music still puts me in a romantic mood".....nice memories
For everyone else who is visiting...we know you have come a long way, we know your time with mom is limited, but when Bill visits, if you can allow them a little alone time when he comes by, I know that mom would appreciate it.

Thank you Gina. I love all you too. I'm so fortunate to be with everyone at this stage of life. When RoseMary was in the hospital, a nurse sat on her bed one night and told her she had a friend that lived for four years. RoseMary ask me if she lived for four years, would I still hold her hand. I told her that if that's all the time this moment lasts, we'll make the best of each one. It's such a comfort to be cheek to cheek to the woman I love. RoseMary and I feel our hearts together when in the same room and our touch is just so peaceful and sereen to us both and we are grateful for all the time we are able to be together. This is a difficult time for all of us, family and friends. The love that pours from your mothers heart has touched, and continues to touch, so many. As sick as she is, her smile feels wonderful and she really does glow. What an angel.
Thanks Gina :) We feel very blessed to have you all in our lives. I was thinking about everything, and I know that one good thing that has come of all this is a relationship with you, Toni, and Dina. I hope to continue that with you all :)
Your mom has been a light in my life, and she will always hold a special place in my heart. I always feel lighter, happier, and carefree whenever I talk with her. She is beautiful and has 3 wonderful daughters (please don't think that this talk is the same kind I used when referring to the "crystal" silverware the other night). I'm being completely honest. I've never seen such strength in a group of family members.
Love you all, and will talk to you soon.
Love, Courtney
